Case
Details: One evening, a car collided with a truck along a Los Angeles highway. One of the passengers was killed, and police were shocked to learn that it was a fraud attempt. The "swoop and squat" scheme involves two cars and a truck. The first car goes in front of the truck while the second car tries to hit the truck, which then hits the first car. The occupants usually get minor injuries, and Santiago and Miller are attorneys that recieve the most money from the case. The two soon went on the run when they learned police were closing in on them.
Extra Notes: The case was covered in a Sixth Season segment.
Results: Captured. Gary Miller was sentenced to six years for vehicular manslaughter. Philemon Santiago was also captured and sentenced for vehicular manslaughter.
