Case[]
Details: Fifty-nine-year-old Floyd Travers had been a respected international pilot for United Airlines for over twenty years. But now he is accused of sexually assaulting three young boys in his “luxurious” suburban home in Cherry Hills Village, Colorado, from 1989 to 1993. He allegedly befriended his victim’s families and later lavished the boys with expensive gifts and cash to buy their silence.
Travers vanished in August 1993 before he could be arrested. His car was later found in a parking lot at an airport in Seattle, Washington. In addition to eight charges of sexual assault and attempted sexual assault, he has been charged with bribery. Authorities believe he could be hiding out in Colorado, California, Nebraska, or somewhere in the Southwest.
Following Travers’ disappearance, two of his victims won $400,000 in a civil lawsuit against him. They were awarded his home, another property, and several vehicles.
