Details: A genealogist named Hank Jones claimed that several bizarre occurrences led him to locate several of his dead ancestors. In 1948, at the age of eight, he began looking when he found several papers and photographs in a trunk in his grandmother's basement. He became interested in genealogy and began looking into his family's tree.
Hank later learned that his family descended from a group of German immigrants known as the "Palatines". He also discovered that his ancestors stayed in Ireland. One day, he was looking up a list of names when he noticed the name "Johann Dietrich Schneider", a man who belonged to a group of 847 other Palatine families who had journeyed to New York. He soon discovered that he randomly picked one of his dead ancestors out of a list of hundreds of people. He also had strange dreams about his ancestors and accurately identified places where they had lived. He believes that he was guided to them by the relative's spirits.
