On May 12, Police found Leticia's husband and the father of the sisters, Antoine Smith, deceased when they went to their residence for a welfare check. Leticia was later charged with Antoine's murder. The family was traveling in a 2010 silver four-door Honda Accord with license plate 7FBT742.

Extra Notes: This case was not featured on Unsolved Mysteries. It was profiled on In Pursuit with John Walsh on two occasions.
Results: Solved. Leticia was arrested in Mexico in March 2022 without incident. The sisters were also found safe.
