Details: On August 14, 1994, four year old Jameika Porch was discovered missing by her grandmother, Annie Tatum, when she was not in the bed she shared with her cousin in Chattanooga, Tennessee. However, Annie wasn't concerned because she thought her daughter, Joyce, Jameika's mother, had picked her up. When Annie called her daughter, she discovered that Jameika was not with Joyce and that her granddaughter was missing. They searched throughout the neighborhood, but Jameika could not be located and they called police. The authorities believed that Jameika was abducted after they found that the window pane from a door in the house had been removed. Extra Notes: The original airdate of the case is unrevealed. The case was also featured on America's Most Wanted.
Results: Unresolved. In October of 1999, workers for a tree trimming service discovered skeletal remains of a small child at Riverside Industrial Park off of Amnicola Highway. On April 25, 2000, the remains were positvely identified as Jameika Porch from DNA testing. It was determined that she had been strangled to death with a ligature shortly after she vanished. Her murder remains unsolved.
