Details: Jeanine Nicarico was home sick with the flu in February 1980 when she was kidnapped, raped and murdered. Her body was found two days later.

Results: Solved. The police eventually arrested Rolando Cruz, Alejandro Hernandez and Stephen Buckley in March 1984 for Jeanine's murder, each of them recieving the death penalty in a joint trial, but in November 1985, Brian Dugan, already in prison for another murder, confessed to the crime in return for a life sentence. Cruz, Hernandez and Buckley were eventually retried and released from prison with Dugan sentenced to death on November 10, 2009.
