Case[]

Details: On September 20, 1988, forty-one-year-old psychologist Jill Bounds spent her day at a hair salon. After shopping, she went home and ate lunch. She then went to a market where she met several friends. After that, she walked through a local park and then went home at 4:15pm; this was the last time she was known to be alive. A few days later, her friend Madelyn Moore became worried when she did not get up early and go to work as scheduled. Madelyn called the police, but since they couldn't break into her house, Madelyn and a friend went inside and discovered her body on her bed, beaten to death.
Her family and friends could not understand why she was murdered, until they discovered that she had been involved in a spiritual movement called "Conscious Movement of the Mind, Body, and Soul" headed by Terri Hoffman. They now believe that her involvement in the group may have led to her murder, but to this day, it remains unsolved.
Suspects: Terri Hoffman
Extra Notes: The case was featured as a part of the November 10, 1995 episode, which focused primarily on missing follower Charles Southern Jr..
Results: Unsolved. Terri died in 2015; she was never charged in Jill's case or any of the other cases.
