Details: One winter night in February 1981, a man named Montgomery and his brother-in-law headed out to the store to buy some beverages and were never seen again. Lake George Village Police Sgt. Ed Litwa, was unable to get any leads on the men and eventually called in local dowser,Ted Kaufman to assist.

Extra Notes: This case appears in the book, "Lost And Never Found" by Anita Larsen.
Results: Solved:. Due to Kauffman's impressions, the men and their truck were located in May, under forty feet of water and 150 feet from shore in Lake George near the Diamond Point area. The Winter Carnival auto races had been held on the frozen lake and the men might have used a short cut.
