Details: Twenty-six-year-old Ngoc Van Tran has served time in prison for burglary, drug possession, and weapons violations. He was released on parole in 1996 and returned to Amarillo, Texas. On the night of September 17, he was seen in a car arguing with his wife, Mildred Diannia "Pam" Packer. Three weeks later, her body was found in the trunk of the same car; she had been shot once in the face with a .380 semi-automatic pistol. In the car was a box of .380 caliber ammunition with Tran's fingerprints on it. He is wanted for murder and is considered one of Texas's most wanted fugitives. He is fluent in English, Vietnamese, and Spanish. He has relatives in Texas, California, and Mexico. He may be working as a dishwasher.

Results: Captured. In June of 2012, Tran was arrested in Mexico after the US Marshals determined his location and obtained an international extradition warrant. On November 20, 2014, Tran was taken into the custody of US Marshals after he ran out of appeals in Mexico. He was then returned to Amarillo, Texas to face murder charges. In August of 2018, he was convicted of murder and sentenced to twenty years in prison. He will be eligible for parole in June of 2022.
Sadly, Two of Ngoc and Pam's children has since passed away; Their daughter, Kim died in a car accident on Mother's Day 2014 after visiting her mother's grave and Their son Shane passed away in 2017.
