Details: On July 28, 2014, twenty-four-year-old Noah Davis drove his half-brother Joshua Wright's truck from his hometown of Ringgold, Georgia, to a motel parking lot in East Ridge, Tennessee. A friend was with him at the time. The truck broke down and the friend got picked up by someone else. This was last time Noah was seen alive. However, he is believed to have messaged a family friend on July 30.
After Joshua was released from jail on August 7, he started looking for Noah and his truck. The next day, he reported both Noah and his truck missing. The truck was found later that day, still in the motel parking lot. The doors were unlocked, the windows were down, and the keys were never found. Some valuables were found in it, but others were missing. The authorities and Noah's family consider his disappearance suspicious. The latter does not believe he would go this long without contacting them because of his mother being seriously ill.
Noah had been in trouble with the law a few times, but it is not believed that this is the reason behind his disappearance. Foul play is suspected in his case.
Suspects: A man known as "Steve" (referenced from 'The Vanished Podcast') has been considered a possible suspect in this case. A Mexican Cartel has also been suspected. His family believes that there were several people that had problems with him who may have been responsible for his disappearance.
Joshua suspects that Noah may have been involved in a drug deal in the parking lot of the hotel where the truck was found. He believes that Noah may have "ripped someone off" and was abducted as a result. He suspects that Noah tried to escape their vehicle and was accidentally run over and killed.
