Details: Twenty-two-year-old Phylicia Thomas was last seen at her home in Lake Township, Pennsylvania, on February 11, 2004. She worked at the "Pump and Pantry" and was dropped off by a coworker at around 11:30pm. When she entered her apartment, she woke up her boyfriend, Ed Rudaski, and asked for a beer. He told her that it was on his ATV and she went out to get it. He went back to sleep and when he woke up an hour later, she had vanished. The coworker was questioned by police and cleared as a suspect.
Phylicia's family believes that her disappearance is related to the case of Jennifer Barziloski, a friend of hers who had vanished in 2001. After her disappearance, Phylicia told her mother that she had been abducted and murdered. She also claimed that she knew who was responsible and was going to prove it. Her skull was located in 2010, but her case, along with this one, remains unsolved.
Suspects: A person of interest in both cases is Steven Martin. He claims to be the last person to speak with Phylicia, calling her at her home shortly after 11:30pm. He was friends with Ed. He was also the last person to see Jennifer before she vanished. He committed suicide while in jail on unrelated vehicular homicide charges in 2005. He was never charged in connection with either case.
Phylicia's family believes that multiple people were involved in her presumed murder. However, no other suspects have been identified.
