Case: Lost Sister
Location: Tallahassee, Florida

Barbara and Charlene reunited

Details: Charlene Long of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, is searching for her long-lost sister, Regina Davis. The sisters were both born in Tallahassee, Florida. In 1974, an automobile accident left their mother, Barbara Anderson, critically injured. Within months, the state determined that Barbara was unable to care for her children and both girls, as well as their step-brother Ray, were put up for adoption. In 1995, Charlene was a mother herself and she began the search for her missing family. In February 1996, Charlene was reunited with her birth mother and step-brother. Together they are determined to locate Regina.
Regina Davis was born on January 2, 1970. At the time of the adoption, a social worker revealed that Regina had been placed with a family in Texas in 1974.
Extra Notes: This segment was featured as part of a Special Bulletin in the December 13, 1996 episode.
Results: Unresolved. Barbara Cox (Anderson) passed away in 2011 at the age of fifty-nine. Both Charlene and Regina are listed as surviving her. Although this suggests that Regina was found, this has not been confirmed.
