Date: April 19, 1995

Case[]

Details: Fifty-five-year-old Duane Miller, a married father of three, was a victim of the Oklahoma City bombing. He was in the credit union at 9:02am on April 19, 1995, to pick up documents for work when the bomb exploded from eighty feet away. He fell two floors and ended up dangling from a wall, suspended by cables and wires ten feet in the air. Eventually, he was able to get his legs untangled; he then fell into the debris below. He was unable to move his legs and was trapped. He tried to drag himself to an opening in the building about fifty feet away but was unable to make it.
Two unidentified men then came in through the hole and over to Duane. They grabbed him and lifted him up from the debris and damage that trapped him inside the building. They helped him outside and left him on the sidewalk. They then went back in to help other injured survivors.
Duane was in the hospital for several weeks; he still has pain walking, but he knows that he is still alive today because of the two men who saved his life. He would like to find and thank them for what they did. One was black and the other was white. They were in their late 20s or early 30s (in 1995), dressed in street clothes, and may have worked in downtown Oklahoma City. Duane has still been unable to find them.
Extra Notes: This case first aired on the March 22, 1996 episode.
Results: Unsolved. Sadly, Duane passed away in 2011 at the age of 70 because of the debris, in his lungs from the tragedy, without ever finding the men who saved his life.
