Details: Two unknown Latin men dubbed the "Shopping Bag Bandits" are wanted in a series of Los Angeles bank robberies in which they placed the money they took from seven banks into shopping bags they brought with them.
Extra Notes: The case was featured as a part of the November 2, 1988 episode.
Results: Captured. Lloyd Gates, one of the robbers, turned himself in shortly after the segment aired. On November 22, 1988, the other robber, Andrew Verdugo, was arrested by police.
