Details: Thirty-eight-year-old Steven Oliver first met eight-year-old Jessyca Mullenberg when he was an aid at her school. He soon became obsessed with her. He followed her and her father as they moved to two different locations in Wisconsin and eventually moved across the street from them in Eau Claire.
On September 16, 1995, Oliver told Jessyca that a publisher was interested in a story that she wrote. She went over to his house, where he then abducted her. They have not been seen since. He may be driving a 1986 Oldsmobile Calais, medium-blue in color with Wisconsin plate number NJG-726.

Results: Captured - On December 28, 1995, three and a half months after Jessyca and Oliver vanished, they were discovered at a motel in Houston after the manager, who was suspicious of Oliver, saw him on America's Most Wanted. He was arrested and Jessyca was reunited with her family.
In September 1996, Oliver was convicted of raping and kidnapping Jessyca and sentenced to forty years in federal prison. To this day, she continues to tell her story of her abduction and tries to help people with similar experiences.
