I need help finding an episode I watched in the early to mid 90s. This episode is about a young couple who purchased a new car from a dealer. They were surprised that they could get a bunch of mpg for it. In fact I think they could drive several hundred miles before needing to refuel. They bragged about this to friends and neighbors and word got around about this mysterious automobile.
Then government agents or Big Auto came and removed something from the gas cap. Apparently their vehicle had some sort of secret gadget that should have never left the testing facility. Does this sound familiar to anyone? From what I can remember the car was a standard sedan.
